This is " the nurse educator Bible". I had the previous edition from grad school and it was used so much it's falling apart. The new edition is really great and it's great in preparing for the CNE. But, my gosh, the size of the text and single spacing makes it a bit difficult to see and read. I even have bifocals and usually have no trouble reading text, but this is crazy small. I recommend purchasing the e-book so you can adjust the text size. This text book in my opinion is superior to all text books I've ever read. It's heavy reading, but I find it written in a way that makes it enjoyable to read. I was still utilizing my old version just for reference and I'm sure once I sit and pass the CNE, the newer version that does have quite a lot of new info in it will be used in the same manner.
This was for school and the book was ok. I don't know that it has improved over the previous book editions.
An indispensable nursing education classic. I strongly recommend for all faculty; novice to expert.
This book was instrumental in helping me pass the CNE exam. It is also a valuable resource that one should have in their arsenal as a nurse educator. It is hefty read and wordy, but there are so many tips and pearls (with supporting evidence) that makes this book worthwhile. I highly recommend it for those working in nursing education.
I just notice that the new text that I purchased on August 19, 2018, is defected. The book is missing some pages from chapter 18. The missing pages are from 305 to 316. I need a replacement text immediately, to avoid missing information from my current coursework. Please advise what need to be done.
The book everyone needs to prepare for faculty role AND CNE exam!
Excellent quality product. I am very happy! Thanks!
I have been looking for a book like this for a long time. A great resource book.
